Entry qualification: BSc or higher in Health or Natural Sciences with GPA ≥ 2.0, OR ninety (90) Premedical credits from AAIMS or another institution. Minimum: Associate Degree in Health Sciences (AHSc), OR BSc GPA ≥ 2.0, OR CAPE Units 1 & 2 at Grades 1–3 in English, Biology, Chemistry, Physics and/or Mathematics, PLUS one continuous year of undergraduate study (min 90 credits, GPA ≥ 3.0). Also considered: experience, work history, personal statement, community/voluntary service, and a structured interview.

Admissions Criteria
Two routes into the MD.
Enter through the Premedical (PM) Programme straight from secondary school, or join the MD Programme directly with a degree or qualifying credits. Every route is assessed alongside a personal statement and a structured interview.

Premedical (PM) Programme
Qualifications for entry
- USA applicantsHigh School Graduation Diploma with competitive marks in English, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics or Mathematics. Recommended (not mandatory): AP, IB, SAT, SAT II, or ACT scores.
- Canada applicantsHigh School Examinations with competitive grades in English, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics.
- India applicantsHigh School Examinations AND National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) with a competitive score.
- Caribbean applicantsAt least five subjects at CXC CSEC proficiency Levels 1–3 (Grades 1–2 before 1998), or five GCE O-level subjects at Grades A/B/C or equivalent, including English Language, Mathematics and at least two Science subjects. CAPE is also accepted. Premed prerequisite: a minimum of five subjects including English Language, Biology, Chemistry, and Mathematics and/or Physics.
- Other countriesSchool leaving certificates are considered individually on equivalency.
